The Harvard Dance Center offers expansive high quality dance education for the Harvard community through Non-Credit Classes and through the Harvard Dance Center Visiting Artists Series.

Open to all Harvard students, faculty, staff, alumni, MIT affiliates, and other local university students, non-credit classes represent a broad range of dance disciplines, for people of all abilities and levels of experience, taught by experts in the field.

The Harvard Dance Center Visiting Artists Series brings preeminent guest artists to campus for free master classes, workshops, and lectures, open to the broader Boston dance community.

NON-CREDIT COMMUNITY CLASSES
The Fall 2019 10-week session of Harvard Dance Center community classes runs September 9-November 16. Online registration will open on Tuesday, August 20.

DROP-IN
All drop-in classes classes must be paid online prior to the start of class. Click on the "Drop-In" link beneath the class you are dropping into and follow the prompts. 

CLASS FEES
Harvard Student: $70 for a single 10-week class; $10 for drop-in
Harvard Community*: $100 for a single 10-week class; $15 for drop-in

*Harvard Community includes Harvard staff, faculty, alumni, MIT affiliates, and other local university students.

TWO-CLASS DISCOUNT: $50 off your second 10-week class!

PAYING WITH TAP
Non-credit dance classes are part of Harvard's Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) for eligible Harvard employees. Please note that a separate completed TAP form for each registered TAP class (two max) is required upon registration. You will be prompted to upload the pdf document upon registering for the first class. If taking a second TAP class, please remember to upload the pdf form for the second class under "Student Documents" in your account.

PAYING WITH TERM BILL
If you are a student hoping to pay by term bill, unfortunately, we are unable to accept term bill payments online. If you cannot pay by credit card and need to pay by term bill, please send an email to [email protected] 


REFUND POLICY
Changes to or cancellations of your registration may be made during the first full week of classes (September 9-14, 2019)  for a full refund. Cancellations made during the second week of classes (September 16-21, 2019) will be refunded at 50%. Refunds will not be offered after September 21, 2019. Drop-in classes are available for purchase for specific classes anytime once the session begins, but are non-refundable once purchased.

WAITLIST POLICY
If a class is at full capacity, the class will be marked FULL on the registration page. To be added to the waitlist, please click "ADD TO WAITLIST." People on the waitlist will be accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis, with waitlisted Harvard students taking priority. You will be contacted if space becomes available in the class and will be given a payment deadline to confirm enrollment.

MISSED CLASS POLICY
The Harvard Dance Center will make every effort to reschedule classes canceled due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances; however, it is not responsible for issuing reimbursements or providing make-up classes for those missed due to illnesses, substitute teachers, or other events beyond our control. The Harvard Dance Center does not prorate class fees due to missed classes.

The Harvard Dance Center is fully accessible for individuals using wheelchairs. Persons with disabilities are welcomed and encouraged to participate in non-credit classes and all Harvard Dance Center programs and activities.
